Delegate and Voting Information
Instead of Proof-of-Work or Proof-of-Stake, Solar (SXP) uses a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm. There are 53 delegates that “forge” SXP and help secure the network. By voting for a delegate you can stake your SXP and then receive SXP from that delegate. The links below provide more information about the Solar delegates, staking, and DPoS.
